Applied Weather Analyses

Weather and climate data applies to many areas of our lives, below is a small sample of projects the staff of Inversion Consulting have been engaged on:

  • Snow load analyses and observation data for both design and structural failure analyses
  • Wind and wave/water level variations with respect to potential wind direction/speed profiles for reservoir design
  • Preliminary bird migration analyses relative to proposed structure impacts with observed weather data and archived radar data
  • Heat stress impacts for the U.S. military in remote locations

Projects with interconnections where weather intersects with other disciplines are projects where Inversion Consulting excels at providing key advice, data and analysis to our clients.  Let us help provide you expert-level weather and climate based services.

Weather affects our lives every day, sometimes a little... sometimes a lot..

However, when the weather deviates from 'normal', challenges can add up...quickly...

Sometimes one needs to understand the weather from the past, say from a specific time period or a single day.....whether it be impacts from rain, snow, hail, ice, severe winds/tornadoes, or any combination thereof....

Inversion Consulting has the knowledge and tools to address it with 25+ years of experience with weather conditions in the past, present and future.

Background

Inversion Weather Consulting is named after the term, inversion and in atmospheric terms an inversion is partially defined as 'a departure from the usual decrease or increase of altitude of an atmospheric property'.  In other words, an inversion is a rapid departure from what could be considered 'normal'. When the atmosphere rapidly 'departs from normal' is when questions quickly arise and answers need to be provided.  Inversion exists to help you provide answers to your questions when weather and climate become a challenge to your greater goals.
